26-Year-Old Exposes Shocking Truth Behind Cosmetics Industry

The cosmetics industry brings in hundreds of billions of dollars per year, but most consumers are unaware of what they're actually paying for.

He says, “I was shocked when I started making my own products for myself, I figured because of the crazy prices on organic skincare, it wouldn’t be cheap to make them. Well, the truth is that it’s actually cheaper to make organic products than it is to make chemical based products, and I’m assuming that supply and demand is the reason that prices stay that high.” 

Zamo mentioned that the markup for typical organic skincare products ranges from about 800%-1000%, adding, “It’s honestly extremely inexpensive on my part to make, and seeing as how I am a small online business, I can easily assume it costs global companies pennies to make each product. It's so baffling to me that people actually pay such high prices for skincare.”

The 26-year-old's company Z Skin Cosmetics has become a breakout in the organic industry within the past 2 years alone. Taking the idea and running with it, Zamo quickly found himself an international success, turning his handmade organic products into an internationally selling brand within months.
